Female fish eagles have an 8 ft. wingspan. Pairs mate for life and often re-use two nests. Because they add sticks and branches to these nests, they can reach 6 ft. across and 4' deep. They usually lay 1-3 eggs and incubation is up to 45 days. The eldest chick, hatched days before others, usually kill younger chicks.
