Farmer using oxen for plowing & planting
Poor farmers use ox because they cost less than horses and can be eaten when they get old. The yoke and harness on these oxen provide easy guiding while oxen can be trained by voice and prod fr om a driver walking beside them. This farmer has seeds in a gourd around his waist.
