Aruba is a 21-mile long island of the Lesser Antilles located 17 miles north of Venezuela. Unlike much of the Caribbean region, Aruba has a dry climate and an arid cactus-strewn landscape. Its year round great weather (away from the hurricane zone), has beautiful beaches which attract many tourists.
