Coffee bean pickers in Costa Rica
In Costa Rica, two types of coffee are grown on the same plantation in the Orosi Valley. A tall variety shades a shorter variety. Harvesters work 6 days a week during a 3-month peak harvest. This picture shows one picker's beans having spilled on the roadway.
