Don’t miss out on your family seeing an awesome bird show, with some ‘Endangered Birds of the Rainforests’. Join us for an incredible free program featuring some of the most amazing and beautiful birds you’ll ever encounter! This will be held at the Colbern Road Mid Continent Public Library in Lee’s Summit, Mo., on March 25th at 10:00 am.
You will meet three severely endangered parrots; you’ll hear a bird sing and/or talk; an adorable toucan; the largest type of owl in the world (Eurasian eagle-owl) ~ you will be ‘blown away’ feeling the wind from his wings, as the owl silently glides over your head. Someone will help us hold his perch up that he’ll land on – will that be you? Other birds will be present; even one that appears from an exciting book.
You will see birds do fascinating natural behaviors; learn their origins; and learn why we should care about the rain forests and its endangered species.
