Mid Continent Public Library’s Woodneath branch is hosting a RIVETING performing bird show on June 9, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., with several endangered parrots and the largest type of owl and largest kind of toucan. We are the only non profit or group in the Midwest that have birds that can ride a bicycle, play basketball, roller skate, spell words, drive a vehicle, etc.
You will meet some severely endangered parrots INCLUDING a hyacinth macaw, the largest of all parrots in the world. You’ll meet one of the smallest parrots in the world too, a parrotlet. We are bringing the LARGEST type of owl in the world, an Eurasian eagle-owl, who will silently glide over the audience at the end of the program. You’ll also hear birds speak on cue and maybe even sing!
Our show will last approximately 40-50 minutes, with questions/answers following. We hope to see you there. This is amazing WHOLESOME family entertainment, very memorable and very educational for people of all ages – from 2 up to 102 years old.
